Angelina Jolie and Her Kids Were Interviewed by the FBI Regarding Brad Pitt's Alleged Plane Altercation: Report
Angelina Jolie and her six kids were reportedly interviewed by the FBI on Tuesday, October 18. According to TMZ, law enforcement officials questioned the Oscar-winning actress, 41, and the children at their rented Malibu home in an attempt to figure out what happened between Brad Pitt and Maddoxduring their alleged altercation on a private plane last month.
As previously reported, Pitt, 52, and the 15-year-old reportedly got into a physical argument before their jet stopped for fuel at Minnesota’s Falls International Airport on September 14. The alleged altercation led Jolie to file for divorce from the actor on September 19, sources previously told Us.
TMZ reports that the FBI spent three hours interviewing the family. The FBI previously told Us Weekly the agency is looking into allegations of child abuse, and is “continuing to gather facts” to “evaluate whether an investigation at the federal level will be pursued.”
According to the site, the FBI is attempting to figure out where the altercation occurred, considering the plane may have not been in U.S. airspace.
Jolie was reportedly cooperative and Pitt was not present. As previously reported, Pitt has been equally as cooperative throughout the investigation. A source previously denied to Us that anything physical happened.
The news comes after Us Weeklyexclusively revealed that Maddox bailed on spending time with Pitt during his first visit with his kids on October 8, which was monitored by a therapist. “He chose not to go and stayed with Angie,” a source told Us of the estranged spouses' eldest child.
As previously reported, it is unlikely the FBI will press a case against Pitt.
